In addition to her commendable work ethic, Asma is also an active participant in humanitarian work, both locally and globally, running her own NGO known as Crescent Foundation. She is an active human rights activist, having done countless work for the benefit of women in rural areas in Pakistan. Asma also serves as the president of the Ladies’ Lawyers Forum, a member of the standing committee of Women Entrepreneurs and Chamber of Commerce along with Lahore Tax Bar Association.

She is a longstanding member of many international associations of IP practitioners including INTA, ECTA, ITMA, CIPA, AIPPI, FICPI, APAA, LES. She is one of the four Delegates for the Independent Members of AIPPI representing Asia on the Council of Presidents and the Executive Committee of AIPPI.
